BeyondTrust · Remote Support
Updated October 22, 2026
A spoofing flaw permits remote attackers to bypass authentication and perform file operations on the support appliance. While not yet linked to ransomware, it provides a foothold for further attacks.
Attackers could upload or modify files on the appliance, potentially installing malicious scripts or harvesting credentials.
Upgrade to the vendor‑released fix; enforce multi‑factor authentication and limit network exposure of the Remote Support appliance.
